WORK EXPERIENCE
MOE HEADQUARTER
September 2020 - February 2021
Throughout my 6-month Internship at MOE Headquarter with the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Junior College section in 2020, The experience as an intern in the MOE Headquarter allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the Singapore Education industry.

Being an intern under the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Junior College section allowed me to comprehend more about the Singapore Junior College curriculum and the effort to plan and develop the Curriculum.
​
Apart from attaining new skills sets and work experience from the internship. I further develop and refine soft skills such as Problem Solving Skills, Adaptability Skills and Time Management. Soft skills are vital because they enable us to adjust to our future working life's frustrations and challenges.
From the hand on experience at the internship, I discover how my course of study applies to the real world and build a valuable experience that makes me a stronger candidate for jobs after graduation.

CHALLENGER TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED
February 2019 - Current
I worked part-time at Challenger in 2019 where I communicated effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues. My daily routine was to attend to customers' needs.
Additionally, I also was tasked to take on cashiering duties. I learnt to be optimistic and positive in whatever I do. ​For example, always greeting customers with a smile even if you have a bad day. I love to work in Challenger as I hope to give everyone who comes to an enjoyable shopping experience.
Due to my responsibility and my passion for work, my manager praised me for the increasing amount of sales of the store.
GUARDIAN HEALTH & BEAUTY
November 2014 - March 2018

I worked part-time at Guardian since 2014 after I finish my secondary school. Guardian is the first job that I worked for part-time. Some of the daily routine for me inside the store are communicating with other stores and arranged the transportation and delivery of items ordered from other store locations if the desired product is out of stock, Ensured the store is clean and tidy, and products are priced and displayed.
Additionally, I also was tasked to take on cashiering duties. I learnt to be patience in everything we do and take the courage to ask the manager or colleges if there is something you don't know. ​For example, checking with full-time staff about a specific product that I am not clear with, this is to ensure that I take the responsibility to check the correct information and prevent giving wrong information to the customers as it is dishonesty.
Due to my willingness to learn and my job attitude, my manager praised me like the best part-timer he has ever seen in the store. Many full-timers are also close to me as I am a helpful and passionate individual and they are willing to help me if I have any problem.
ALDO SHOES
October 2017 - December 2017

I worked as an intern at Aldo shoes in 2017. I learned a lot from the staff there which expand my knowledge and skills. The staff was friendly and caring, they are happy to help me in my daily routine if I needed help. Some of the daily routine for me inside the store are arranging the shoes and products in at well-organized ways and to serve the customers.
Additionally, I was also tasked by my supervisor to take on the job of storeman which was to help to get shoes from the storeroom when customers want to try or buy the specific shoes. I learnt to be patient and have a passion for everything we do. ​ For example, be polite and nice to the customers even if they only enter the store to try out or take a look at the shoes, treat all customers the same amount of respect and have the patience for them.

Having seen my passion for work during my internship, my manager praised me for being a hardworking individual that helps to lighter their daily workload.
